There is a parlor game physics students play: Who was the greater genius? Galileo or Kepler? (Galileo) Maxwell or Bohr? (Maxwell, but it's closer than you might think). Hawking or Heisenberg? (A no-brainer, whatever the best-seller lists might say. It's Heisenberg). But there are two figures who are simply off the charts. Isaac Newton is one. The other is Albert Einstein. If pressed, physicists give Newton pride of place, but it is a photo finish -- and no one else is in the race. Newton's claim is obvious. He created modern physics. His system described the behavior of the entire cosmos -- and while others before him had invented grand schemes, Newton's was different. His theories were mathematical, making specific predictions to be confirmed by experiments in the real world. Little wonder that those after Newton called him lucky -- "for there is only one universe to discover, and he discovered it. " But what of Einstein? Well, Einstein felt compelled to apologize to Newton. "Newton, forgive me;" Einstein wrote in his Autobiographical Notes. "You found the only way which, in your age, was just about possible for a man of highest thought and creative power." Forgive him? For what? For replacing Newton's system with his own -- and, like Newton, for putting his mark on virtually every branch of physics. That's the difference. Young physicists who play the "who's smarter" game are really asking, "how will I measure up?" Is there a shot to match -- if not Maxwell, then perhaps Lorentz? But Einstein? Don't go there. Match this: In 1905, Einstein is 26, a patent examiner, working on physics on his own. After hours, he creates the Special Theory of Relativity, in which he demonstrates that measurements of time and distance vary systematically as anything moves relative to anything else. Which means that Newton was wrong. Space and time are not absolute -- and the relativistic universe we inhabit is not the one Newton "discovered." That's pretty good -- but one idea, however spectacular, does not make a demi-god. But now add the rest of what Einstein did in 1905: In March, Einstein creates the quantum theory of light, the idea that light exists as tiny packets, or particles, that we now call photons. Alongside Max Planck's work on quanta of heat, and Niels Bohr's later work on quanta of matter, Einstein's work anchors the most shocking idea in twentieth century physics: we live in a quantum universe, one built out of tiny, discrete chunks of energy and matter.

He decided that Germany too must have colonies overseas, which would helped him expand the German Empire and provide Germany with a market for her growing industries. It would also be a status sybol showing Germany’s greatness and gaining it respect. ( Furthermore, Britain in particular, used its navy and merchant navy to dominate overseas trade, which also provided a source of irritation to the Germans. The Germans embarked on a program of massive naval spending in order to create a navy capable of challenging Britain's domination of the sea. This caused considerable concern in Britain and tensions between the Germans and the Britain. Once the trigger was fired, the assassination of the Archduke, Imperialism directly led to a naval arms race between the two countries. Causing the disparity of the power of different countries ,competition and tension between countries to grow , the Colonial rivalry made countries willing and eager to join World War I, which was see n as an opportunity to gain colonies and reshape the world.Therefore, German declared war on Russia and mobilized her army when Russia refused to send troops to help Serbia and other countries joined in the War later. On 5 August, all the great powers of Europe were at war with each other, WWI broke out. Balkan nationalism-the desire of the Slav peoples of this area to join those in the empire of Austria-Hungary Balkan nationalism is also one of the important factors of the outbreak of WWI. The Balkans is the area of south-west Europe and it was the powder-keg or trouble spot of Europe. This area had once been part of Turkish Empire.It was inhabited by Slav peoples such as the Serbs, Bulgarians and Romanians, who were able to rule themselves. Many nationalities were part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire but Serbia wanted to unite all Serbs within a greater Serbia. The Slav peoples of Balkans desired those in the empire of Austria-Hungary to join with them. Russia regarded herself as t he protector of these Slavs since they shared a common nationality. Austia-Hungary feard losing not only the Serbs but also other Balkan nationals so that Austria-Hungary wanted to take over the states of this area to preserve of this empire.It brought increasing rivalry between Russia and Austria-Hungary. When Austria started war with Serbia, Russia ordered the Russian army to prepare for war in order to help the Slavs of Serbia on 29 July, which started a countdown to the biggest war, WWI. German sent ultimatum to Tsar Nicholas to order him to stop mobilizing but Russia refused to accept and so Germany declared war on Russia , mobilizing her army. As France was an ally of Russia the French government ordered the mobilization of the French army on 1 August. Many other great powers joined the war later so that WWI broke out on 5 August.Causing the tension and opposition between Russia and Austria-Hungary to rise and making the mobilization of Russia which started the countdown of th e war,the Balkan nationalism made the war likely to happen. These armies could be mobilized at a moment’s notice. In the period 1900-1904 the main European powers more than doubled their spending on their armies. From 1872 to 1912, Germany increased more than 300% of her armaments spending when Russia increased more than 250% with Italy, Great Britain, Austria-Hungary and France around 100%. Guns , shells, bullets and other weapons had been stockpiled in case of war.Ever more destructive weapons were being developed and improved, such as the machine-gun and huge field guns. The increases in spending of armaments caused the military rival between countries to rise. The arm races increased tension between the Great Powers. They felt threatened when others increased its army and gained stronger weapons so that they competed with each other through making their military power stronger with a rolling ‘snowball’ effect. At the same time, Germany had the world’s best army but Kaiser Wilhelm, but the German reluer would like to compete with Britain so that it began to build a fleet of battleships to rival the British Navy in 1898. Britain were not worried about the growth of the German fleet too much at first since they had enormous lead.However, the introduction of the powerful British ‘Dreadnought’ batt leship in 1906 changed all this. The dreadnought was faster, bigger and had a much great firing range than existing battleships and this super-battleship made all previous battleships obsolete or out of date. This allowed the Germans to begin building ‘Dreadnoughts’ on equal terms with Britain. A race developed between two countries to see who could build the most. In 1909 Britain had 8 Dreadnoughts to Germany’s seven. This naval race poisoned the relations between the two countries and was the main bone of contention between the two right up to 1914.When Germany was preparing to invade Belgium, the British sent her troops to protect Belgium from attack. British sent a telegram to call Germany to back her army. With no reply from Germany , the Britain started war with Germany and from then, all the great powers of Europe became at war with each other. On 5th August, 1914, WWI broke out. By worsening the relations between Germany and Britain and causing rival and tension between them to rise, the Anglo-Naval Race made the war between the two more likely to happen and it became a part a WWI. To prov e her point she lists up a number of things that her daughter were never allowed to do, such as: * Have a play date * Watch television or play computer games * Attend a school play. And so on.. Prohibitions that seems totally unreasonable for us â€Å"westerns†, as she loosely has named us. Throughout the text she covers several perspectives on parenting, which of a few I surprisingly agree on. Most of her viewpoints I deeply disagree with though and is far from my idea about proper parenting. Each time she lists up one of her perspectives, she compares the Chinese perspective with the Western perspective. She does this in a very subjective manner I think. She is very clever rhetorically. At some parts of the text, I actually caught my self being very close to getting dragged towards her side. I found it quite amusing to feel the power of pathos, but at the same time a bit daunting. According to Amy, the main difference between Chinese parents and Western parents is the way they see their children. Answers: 1.Business analyst is a person whose main objective is guiding business to equip technology in a profitable way through determination of requirement of a particular program or project and broadcast it to facilitators, and partners (Abbott, 2014). Contrary to production of plans, business analyst crops requirements (Abbott, 2014). 2.There is a huge difference between business analyst and a system analyst. System analysts are those who have deep knowledge of technology, which means that they can go to the pinpoint where changes are required in a code whereas business analyst may not have that huge knowledge of code but he/she understands what work is the code supposed to do (Ott Longnecker, 2015). A business analyst understands the language of both IT and the stakeholders. He/she acts as a interface between management and IT (Ott Longnecker, 2015). 3.The business analyst is not for sure a leader on the project still his/her role may be most diverse and at times and most necessary for the success of the project. A good business analyst must be well with technological knowledge, which means that he/she should have a good hold of technology. He/she must pay critical attention to detail, which means that business analyst must have thorough knowledge of the situation (Fleisher Bensoussan, 2015). He/she must be a skilled communicator, which means that he/she must be excellent at communication, as they have to deal with the stakeholders. He/she must be excellent at resolving conflicts. A person having possessing these qualities, can be called an excellent business analyst. 4.Business analysis is a research done in order to identify business needs and to determine solutions of the business problems (Banerjee, Carlin Gelfand, 2014). Preparing a document of the business analysis can be very helpful in further development of activities of the organization. Business analysis indulges requirement analysis or requirement engineering, which deals with determining expectations of the user for a modified or new product (Banerjee, Carlin Gelfand, 2014). It focuses whether the changes made in any part of an organization helps in the development of the organization. Analysis can be of many forms such as architecture analysis, business process analysis, object oriented analysis, structured analysis and data warehouse analysis (Chazaln et al., 2015). Preparing a documentation of analysis can be very helpful on development of the organization in various aspects, as the organization needs to focus on the strategic plans and matters. Documentation of the analysis help s to resolve the strategic, architecture and IT related issues as business analysis consists all of it (Huang et al., 2016). Use case diagram is a list of activities or steps, which typically defines the interaction between a role and a system in order to achieve a goal (Huang et al., 2016). The actor in a use case diagram can be either a human or any external system. Analysis done through use case is efficient and useful as it is the basic characteristics of many projects and it provides framework for many project activities. It is used for data modeling of an organization. It describes the basic element, interactions in the organization and the classes, which needs to be programmed (Sadaf Azam, 2016). These can be easily drawn if proper analysis of data is provided as documentation. The data analysis is the key element in preparation of class diagrams. It gives a clear, effective and correct view of the organization which enormously vital for understanding the hierarchy of the organization. Activity diagrams, related to the program flow plans are used in illustration of activities (Shukla, Keast Ceglarek, 2014). An activity diagram illustrates activities individually and here, activity represents a business process and action represents an individual step within an activity (Czopik et al., 2014). They are used for describing the business process, which describes the way that the business functions. In an activity diagram, it is made clear whether the actors are able to perform business use cases independently or together.
